We are responsible for developing and delivering AI solutions tailored to maximize value in various vertical industries, including intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and industrial safety. By combining our strong foundation in computer vision with emerging GenAI technologies like Vision Language Models (VLMs), we aim to build scalable, generalizable products that create real-world impact. We are looking for an AI Software Engineer Intern to join us in building practical and innovative solutions.
📌 What You’ll Do at This Position
You will play a key role in applying AI technologies across vertical domains. Specifically, you’ll work on developing AI solutions that integrate computer vision and VLMs. You’ll also gain hands-on experience collaborating with domain experts and AI engineers to lead projects from ideation to commercialization. This internship offers a unique opportunity to experience the full product lifecycle while overcoming real-world constraints and validating your work in actual operating environments.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Develop AI applications using CV models and Vision Language Models (VLMs)
- Optimize inference performance of video-based AI models across industries such as transportation, safety, and manufacturing
- Deploy and maintain AI applications across edge, server, and cloud environments
- Turn early-stage PoC ideas into production-ready solutions
- Collaborate with domain experts, AI engineers, and backend developers
✅ Requirements
- Master’s degree candidate in Computer Science, AI, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Python programming
- Understanding of CV models and VLMs, with ability to evaluate performance both quantitatively and qualitatively
- Comfortable using collaboration tools such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Slack
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
- Strong comprehension and writing skills in technical English
- Available for at least 6 months
- No restrictions on overseas travel
✅ Pluses
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Research experience in CV or VLM domains
- Experience with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, DeepStream, GStreamer, and Protobuf
- Experience in edge or embedded systems development
