👋About the Team

The Technical Operation Division integrates product reliability, data assets, infrastructure, and information security into a single operating system. Our mission is to ensure that Nota’s technical organization grows fast, safely, and scalably.

Our division consists of four specialized teams: Data, QA, Infra, and InfoSec. Each team holds the following responsibilities:

  • QA: Responsible for product stability and reliability; manages the entire verification process before and after release and builds a company-wide quality culture.
  • Infra: Operates the environment and tools that allow R&D to work without disruption and cost-effectively across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Data: Leads the strategy, operation, and policy of AI dataset assets; enhances product completeness by efficiently executing the data lifecycle.
  • InfoSec: Identifies and responds to security threats from the company, customers, and partners; lowers risk and MTTR by embedding security into the development and deployment pipeline (DevSecOps).

Furthermore, we design, implement, and operate technical measures in collaboration with the ILC (IP, Legal, Compliance) team to comply with various certifications and regulations, such as ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISMS, and Open Source Compliance.

📌 What You’ll Do at This Position

As the Head of Technical Operation Division, you will oversee four teams and concurrently serve as the company's CISO (Chief Information Security Officer).

Your primary mission is to integrate Quality, Data, Infrastructure, and Security into a single unified governance framework. You will align goals with each team lead, negotiate priorities, and drive execution through cross-functional coordination to enhance Nota AI’s overall operational efficiency and trust.

✅ Key Responsibilities

1. Division Goal Setting & Alignment

  • Define annual goals and key initiatives in collaboration with the QA, Data, Infra, and InfoSec teams.
  • Arbitrate conflicts between goals (e.g., Speed vs. Stability, Cost vs. Performance, Security vs. Convenience) and lead the decision-making process.
  • Design and operate collaboration structures across Tech, Business, and ILC divisions.
  • Align priorities for critical issues (quality/security/operational risks) and clarify ownership and roles for resolution.

2. CISO Role (Leading Security Governance)

  • Establish company-wide security strategies, policies, standards, and control directions.
  • Report major security risks and metrics to the executive level and establish a framework for risk acceptance/mitigation decisions.
  • Take final responsibility for responding to customer/partner security requirements (audits, inquiries, on-site inspections) and lead external communications.

3. Advancing Operational Excellence

  • Establish a growth roadmap for technical operation systems across Quality, Data, Infra, and Security.
  • Operate governance to ensure Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and recurrence prevention activities are performed organizationally when incidents (failures, security breaches, quality issues) occur.
  • Lead efforts to ensure automation, metrics, and documentation become sustainable systems rather than one-off tasks.

4. Oversight of Certifications & Compliance

  • Establish company-wide goals, schedules, and evidence strategies for ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISMS, and Open Source Compliance.
  • Interpret requirements with the ILC team and decompose them into actionable tasks for each team.
  • Take final responsibility for audit responses, including risk management, tracking improvement actions, and systematizing recurrence prevention.

✅ Requirements

  • Experience: 15+ years of total experience (or equivalent expertise).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security, Software/Information Communication, or a related field (Mandatory).
  • Leadership: Proven experience as a CISO or in an equivalent senior security leadership role.
  • Management: Experience managing large organizations/divisions, including hiring, performance evaluation, and talent development.

✅ Pluses

  • Exceptional coordination and communication skills with diverse stakeholders (Technical, Business, Legal, External Customers).
  • Direct experience in responding to certifications/audits such as ISO 27001 or ISMS.
  • Experience in Open Source Compliance (SCA, license policies/processes).
  • Hands-on experience in DevOps and cloud architecture operations.

✅ Hiring Process

  • Resume Review > 1st Interview > 2nd Interview

(Additional assignments or tasks can be included during the process.)

🤓 A Message from the Team

The Technical Operation Division aims to go beyond "each team working well" to create a technical governance where Quality, Data, Infra, and Security move together under the same vision. We are looking for a leader who can maximize the execution of our team leads, lead critical decisions, and take responsibility for external trust as our CISO.
