The Solution Tech team leads the development and delivery of AI-powered solutions that maximize customer value across a wide range of verticals, including Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and industrial safety. Leveraging our strong foundation in Computer Vision, we integrate cutting-edge technologies such as Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and Generative AI (GenAI) to build more generalizable and scalable products.
As a Backend Engineer on this team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of vertical AI solutions. We're looking for someone who is excited to build innovative products in collaboration with engineers, researchers, and product managers—turning ideas into real-world impact across diverse industries.
📌 What You’ll Do at This Position
You’ll take the lead in applying AI technologies to real-world industrial challenges. You’ll be responsible for building LLM Agent systems that leverage multi-modal AI—including computer vision and VLMs—to analyze real-time data and solve complex problems in vertical domains. By integrating the latest technologies for LLM Agent development, you’ll contribute to creating adaptable solutions that extend beyond transportation and safety into new industrial frontiers. This is an opportunity to propose and implement your own ideas while tackling meaningful backend engineering challenges.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy LLM Agent systems applicable to various industrial verticals
- Build systems that summarize, analyze, and generate reports from real-time video and sensor data in domains such as traffic, safety, and manufacturing
- Maintain and scale these systems across both on-premise and cloud environments
- Translate proof-of-concept ideas into production-ready software
- Collaborate with domain experts, AI engineers, and AI software engineers to deliver user-centered solutions
✅ Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a background in Computer Science, AI, or related fields
- Proven experience developing software systems using Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Proficient in Python and TypeScript, with experience using AI tools like Cursor or Claude Code
- Ability to apply prompt engineering techniques to improve LLM performance both qualitatively and quantitatively
- Skilled in using collaboration tools such as GitHub, Jira, Confluence, and Slack
- Strong proficiency in reading and writing technical documentation in English
- Eligible for international travel
✅ Pluses
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- Strong understanding of RAG pipelines, vector/graph databases, data structures, algorithms, and software architecture
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Milvus, Neo4j, LangChain, Protobuf, or similar tools
- 3+ years of experience in building and operating commercial backend systems
